Passed away aged 91 - still writing film scores five years ago!
Came across him with his score for The Mission in mid 80s - Gabriel's Oboe is an amazing piece.
Must be close to the world's most prolific - 520+ film scores. Be interested to know how many pieces of his that Tarrantino picked up for his soundtracks.
Another great now gone, but leaves plenty for us to remember him by.

We are supposed to play Sydney next Sunday (12th July) at the MCG at 1535.
However, that makes some assumptions that I doubt will hold.
I can't see the Swans coming to Victoria.
We are supposed to get at least a week's notice if we are shunted into a hub somewhere other than Victoria.
I truly have no idea if this fixture is going to be played as scheduled. But I would like to see us bounce back after last night's debacle.

This Thursday night we play at Marvel, which means we'll be dry. We generally play worse than we do at the MCG.
Remember:
[1] 15 votes in total
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
We are on free to air, which is miraculous.

We were not on free to air, which I find incredible. But at least I saw the game on Kayo. We are really dudded when it comes to TV. Just as I said last week!
