  Vale Alex Auchurrio

Former Bullant Alex Aurrichio died last night after being hit by a car whilst cycling.

I seem to recall that he played with a bit of vim and vigor ?
Maybe Crash, Baggers or RiverRat can elaborate further on his play.

AFL Rd 2: In Game Angst: Carlton vs Melbourne

I tend to include angst in the titles: I worry about a game until it is over.
I hope we will win, but I doubt it at this point. No Kreuzer.
However, this of you who can get to the game (those working at it), and those of you with Fox or Kayo, enjoy.
Car'n the Blues!

Round 2 Voting: Jim Park Award: Carlton vs Melbourne
Posted by: crashlander - 06-08-2020, 07:48 AM - Forum: Robert Heatley Stand - Replies (25)

With the game starting at 1535 on Saturday, I have started up a thread. Hopefully things will go to schedule and the game will commence. Please vote here. You should know the rules, but I'll post them again anyway.

Remember:
[1] 15 votes in total
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

  Big Footy Hacked
Posted by: LP - 05-29-2020, 03:44 AM - Forum: Blah-Blah Bar - No Replies

Hi, just an FYI for forum members as I know many of you have accounts across the web.

Bigfooty has been hacked, exposing the profile details of many user accounts. If you've got an account over there you might want to review your account and see if any of your other accounts share the same password.

Bigfooty will probably force account users to change the passwords on their site, but if that password is shared your other sites are at risk!

  G mail and outlook

Hopefully, there's an easy answer to this.  Have a close friend who uses gmail and just bought a W10 compatible version of Outlook (2007).

Is she "forced" to link gmail to outlook thru the add account feature?  I'm aiming to see her divorce her gmail.com stuff from a new outlook.com address and use both individually based upon her needs?

I'm no idiot when it comes to PCs but this one's got me stuffed.  Thanks guys

  IT Question: External HD Recovery
Posted by: Gointocarlton - 05-17-2020, 11:29 AM - Forum: Blah-Blah Bar - Replies (13)

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I have an WD external HD that is failing to read. The light is on but no one is home so to speak. Anyone have the skills or point me in the direction of someone who can retrieve data for me with out the exorbitant price tag? I have been quoted $1000+ which I think is insanity or is that the going rate? Happy to pay someone but...
Cheers in advance

Is it just me is does that Porsche driving piece of human garbage rile anyone else up? I cant even look at his face on the TV without wanting to launch myself at it. This c#$% makes me angrier than any mongrel I have seen on any news report in a very long time. He is just pure evil who takes pleasure in causing grief to others. He has Zero respect for anyone, let alone Police. They have to figure out how to keep this pond scum locked away for as long as possible. If I saw this dirt bag in the street, I feel I wouldnt be able to control myself.  >Sad  >Sad  >Sad  >Sad

  Mick vs Kochie
Posted by: ElwoodBlues1 - 05-10-2020, 08:00 AM - Forum: Blah-Blah Bar - Replies (6)

David Koch pulling the racist card against Mick Malthouse who wants to scrap the Port AFL game/s in China due to the communist regime's lack of accountability over the Pandemic.
Koch is leveraging his argument with the economic rationale of we need China as a business partner and that Mick should bring back the White Australia policy given his views...a very cheap shot from Koch.

I'm with Mick on this one....Koch is of course thinking with his Port cap on and wanting a quick buck as well as probably protecting the value of his A2 Milk equities(assumption he holds) etc etc and other business interests.
Micks questioning the Chinese regime is fair enough IMO and I see no need to play games there now or in the future and that Koch is totally out of line with his cheap attack which took MM's comments out of context.
I'd expect Koch to be flying Twiggy airlines soon and building a theme park at Alberton.....
