With wrestling. What a joke.

Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps has been charged with wrestling by the Match Review Officer.

The incident occurred with North Melbourne midfielder Jed Anderson during the second quarter of Saturday’s win over the Kangaroos.

The MRO charge carries a $1,250 fine, which can be reduced to $750 with an early guilty plea.

The Club has until midday on Monday to respond to the charge.

We are supposed to play Hawthorn in Perth; the game has already been changed from Thursday to Friday, but with Tassie not allowing footy to be played, the fixture is again up in the air.

I wanted to comment on something and found no thread that was suitable and thought perhaps we need a thread for general, random discussion... ones that cannot and do not fit under any other heading/thread.

Just wanted to say how much I was enjoying the Zac D and Ross L discussions on the AFL website. Really good value and deeply authentic communications between the two. Insightful.

Seriously, I read that there are players threatening or considering bypassing the domestic season so they can go and play in the IPL over in India.

I mentioned once before the BCCI uses the IPL as a way to disrupt and destabilise opponents, it's not an accident that these scheduling conflicts occur, and even less of a coincidence in the current circumstances.

The BCCI want us to ask the question, if they choose to go in pursuit of the holly dollar, do we have to let them back in? But if we ask that question we play into the hands of Indian cricket.

This Sunday at the 'Gabba. No idea how many fans will be there, but it won't be me.
