Happy with Jess and Keryk back.
Good to see Attard finally getting a game.
Brazzalle and Arnell both injured again is disappointing.
Hicks has had a rough trot and i would've dropped her instead of Jess last week.
Webb out won't phase us.
Interesting to note that despite an article about Bianca Jakobbson during the week coming up against her old side, she is the only out at this stage, injured. Thats a big plus for us.

Quote:
Why they can make the eight
The Blues will hope for eight wins this year, which means the finals are a further four unexpected victories away. That looks like a big leap but, remember, they lost six matches by 19 points or less last season. If Jacob Weitering, Sam Petrevski-Seton and Charlie Curnow can become consistent, strong performers and Harry McKay kicks goals, the Blues could build momentum quickly.
Quote:Why they can't make the eight
There is still so much work to be done. The Blues had only seven wins in 2016 and six last year, including one from their final 10 matches. This list does boast great promise but it is still too early to expect a consistent, hardened side. Sam Docherty's absence is a major blow.

Should be a sunny day in old Launny!
Saturday 10 March
Summary Min 13 Max 27
Partly cloudy.Chance of any rain: 0%
Launceston area
Partly cloudy. Light winds becoming north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the day then becoming light during the evening.
The Hawks? Meh.
Blues by 37. In a canter.
Hawks (with no Rioli for sometime I gather) look ordinary everywhere. A few good kids eg Ryan Burton but no real stars (Roughy fading, Mitchell a possie machine but....).
Siciliy and Gunston as defenders? Surely robbing Peter to pay Paul? Frawley and Gunston at 193cm their key defenders. Who stands Harry at 203cm and Levi at 201cm? Let alone who runs with Charlie?
Looking forward to seeing SPS hook up with Crippa, Kennedy, Paddy D., and the cousins!

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/2018-03...nomination Quote:CARLTON ruck Breann Moody has been rewarded for her solid performance against Adelaide on Saturday night, receiving the Round 5 AFLW Rising Star nomination.
Moody, who celebrated her 21st birthday on Sunday, racked up 29 hit-outs, 11 disposals and five clearances at Norwood Oval.
Thought she had better games that this, but its probably like the mens in which you get it based on a collection of games, rather than just one.
Congrats in any event.

Lest we forget how good this bloke is - and will be....
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/new-...v41nc.html
Quote:Darcy Coffey, head of football at WAFL club Claremont, first saw Petrevski-Seton play as a 13-year-old in Hall's Creek, 700 kilometres east of Broome.
"I thought he was about 16 because he was playing with blokes much older and dominating," Coffey told Fairfax Media.
"He's clean, he's like a liquid the way he moves across the ground."
Petrevski-Seton spent the first three years of his life on the cattle station where his father worked, around 300km away from Hall's Creek; where his Mum is from.
Hall's Creek – in far north-east WA – has a population of just over 1200.
But even with 60 times that number expected to pack into the MCG on Thursday night, Coffey is adamant Petrevski-Seton won't be overwhelmed.
"That's part of the reason why he looks so comfortable – nothing seems to faze him.
"When you're coming from a place like Hall's Creek, playing in front of a few people doesn't register I don't think."
Coffey, who's been at Claremont for six seasons, has seen some prodigious talent come through. But none better than Petrevski-Seton.
"And we've had a few good ones; (Gold Coast's) Jack Martin and Jesse Hogan, but as a youth age kid, he's the best one I've seen come through.
"[glow=red,2,300]Time stands still, his skills are exceptional. Even if you ask him which foot he kicks with, I don't reckon he could tell you[/glow]."

Quote:RECRUITERS recall leaving the Gold Coast two years ago for the NAB AFL Under-16 Championships in awe of some of the things Sam Petrevski-Seton had shown.
The West Australian prospect was clearly the best player across the week of games, dominating for his state and being named the carnival's standout prospect.
Petrevski-Seton, obviously, has been on the radar for some time as a likely early choice. He played for the West Australian under-18 side last year as a bottom-ager and won All Australian honours and also represented Claremont's senior side at WAFL level.
This year had its challenges for Petrevski-Seton, as he battled a hamstring injury through the middle of the year that ruled him out of half the under-18 championships. But he finished his campaign strongly in the NAB All Stars game with 23 disposals, six clearances and eight tackles in one of the better performances of his season.

God bless you Samo (and may you play 300 games for the mighty Blues) 8)
