This game was originally set for Preston, but it is now going to be played at Ikon. The U18 game will follow it, with the VFL game starting at 1030. The idea is that supporters will be able to get to Marvel in time.

With 4 big injuries, the team should not be as strong as last week, but who knows? We were really bad last week!

We play a team below us who have looked more than ordinary. That should be good. But do we have enough fit guys to do the job?

This game was originally slated for Sat at Preston, but the Preston ground is having issues at the moment. Therefore this game is at Carlton, at 1400 on Saturday.

Yet another game I won't be seeing live. Hopefully the game is on TV.
Even though Kreuzer will be better for the run, I hope we play a 2nd ruckman. Hawthorn probably will, in an effort to run our ruck into the ground. Hawthorn won the practice match because they played all 3 of their ruck options against Casboult and de Koning. It gave them a huge edge in the middle of the ground. We cannot let them do that again.
The other thing they did in the Practice Match was to get the ball over the back and run the ball into goal with a loose man. It was one of only two ways they scored (the other coming from our turnovers). They didn't win a contest all night. But they didn't need to. We need to stop the turnovers and keep the ball from getting over the back.

Playing on Easter Sunday leads to the question: are the Blues going to get crucified again, or will we rise from the dead to start a new dynasty?
To be honest, I am leaning towards the former after last week.
