Post Game Passion: AFL 2019 Rd : Carlton vs. Western Bulldogs - crashlander - 04-19-2019

Playing on Easter Sunday leads to the question: are the Blues going to get crucified again, or will we rise from the dead to start a new dynasty?
To be honest, I am leaning towards the former after last week.

Anyway. Please come here when the game is over.

Just thought i'd start this thread from quoting a post i made in the pre-game thread a week ago. When everyone else was playing the 'sack bolton' or the 'full review required' cards....

We've been $h!t out of luck of late, and we are due for some things to go our way. It will be this week and it will be glorious.

Just saying....

All player effort aside, gotta give kudos to Bolton and the coaching side.

After last week there was a problem identified - a disconnect between mids and forwards.
They've obviously worked hard on it all week, not only had they improved upon it, they smashed it. First time since 2016 we've kicked the 100 points.

Have patience bluebaggers.

We have all the ingredients, we've mixed them all together.
The cake is in the oven, now we just wait for it to rise.

Well it is the day for big comebacks. And what a comeback!

And we’ve jumped up to 14th from last. (Above the crows too)

It was like watching a mirror image. Us slick, quick, fast, hands, quick ball movement, generally good skills, the other side working, poor skills, inefficient movement, bombing into the F50. The other side trying to fight back hard, not scoring, then we get them on the rebound, quick movement and score a couple against the run.

Make such a wonderful change. This is what I wanted 4th year in with a very good young side.
