2021 AFLW Best and Fairest leaderboard
1 Darcy Vescio 66 votes
2 Nicola Stevens 53 votes
3 Kerryn Harrington 49 votes
• Madison Prespakis 38 votes
• Georgia Gee 34 votes
• Grace Egan 34 votes
• Gabriella Pound 31 votes
• Breann Moody (29)
• Jess Hosing (27)
• Elise O’Dea (26)
I wouldn't say Vescio was a shock winner, but Maddie P not making the podium is. While she was far from up to her 2020 form, she got 5 BOGs from us voters from her 8 games.
Nic Stevens must get a vote per dropped mark to finish that high.
Love her effort but i think her output compared to some below her was lacking.
Example would be Bree Moody. How she finished 8th, while making the AA team is a bit perplexing.
Reckon Laloifi is a bit stiff not making the top 10 too.

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
I really want to see an A+ performance this week!

The game is on at 11:00 at Prince park (Ikon Oval) on Saturday.
Our team:
Backs: Cody Hirst Ed Delany Ryley Stoddart
Half-backs: Cooper Stephens Stefan Radovanovic Tom Williamson
Centreline: Will Setterfield Lochie O'Brien Matt Kennedy
Half-forwards: Ben Caluzzi Josh Honey Matt Owies
Forwards: Corey Durdin Ben Crocker Sam Ramsay
Followers: Alex Mirkov James Parsons Paddy Dow
Interchange: Toby Wooller Tom North Sam Philp Matt Shannon
Emergency: Dale Marshall Aaron Gundry Lachie Swaney Fraser Phillips
Still no numbers posted.
There is a bit more experience in the side, Durdin and Philp will be on more minutes. A couple of guys have something to prove after last week's capitulation.
But out biggest problems will again be structural: not a lot of height along the spine and only 1 ruckman who cannot yet see out a game. It does not bode well.
Brisbane still have close to a full list. We don't.

| Did China sink an Indonesia Sub? |

Well, I've heard some rumors, but this one seems to be right up there in QAnon class.
The claim is that Indonesian sub was sank by China to draw regional surveillance craft away from regular duties.
Apparently China wants to move some of it's own subs into close proximity to eavesdrop on us or some neighbours, and have done so by drawing craft capable of detecting them away as part of the search. Surely not!
