It's interesting reading articles being written at the moment about the US Open, in particular the fact that tournament organisers have deliberately scheduled Carlos Ramos away from the matches of Serena or Venus Williams. Why is he racist? Of course he isn't, but he isn't easily bullied into submission by Serena's poor behaviour either.

So I suppose as far as the US Open is concerned Serena is the big show and calls the shots!

But I can't help but think that the tournament organisers have basically rewarded Serena for bad behaviour, at least it seems like that on the surface of it!

Keep this in mind as reported in The Rage;

I won't be seeing this one live. We should never play Geelong at a ground that holds so few people, even when we are crap.

I think our finals' hopes are gone after the last few weeks, but it would be nice to give this mob and pasting.

This is an important game for us to win. I really want to win this. In theory we can do it, even with our injury issues. I want it badly, especially after our recent games.

A 2nd curtain raiser for a change, and the likelihood of being on TV. Not sure I should bother recording it, though. Richmond are sitting pretty in the top 2. Last week we played poorly against a team a lot less well regarded.
