Honestly don't mind Kennedy getting subbed off.
He is essentially playing the same role as tdk. Ruck/forward.

If we want a spark Kennedy isn't going to provide it. He is too slow for Brisbane
As bad as they have been our small forwards are more likely to provide a spark and kick a random goal.

Also Kennedy just had a kid in the last 24/48 hours so he may be a bit tired/distracted.

He didn't look too tired or distracted when the camera panned to him sitting in the back row.

He looked absolutely pissed off. Pit was getting smashed and we go and sub a mid for a ruck.

We know what team we have for the second half (sub made)
We know where we are losing it and what we need to change.
We've got the long break to work it out and implement it.
We've got nothing to lose.

Alternatively, Lions will be going into self preservation mode and will be looking to next week and staying fit for it.
They have no idea what differences we will be coming up with in the 2nd half.

We can catch them napping and kick a few early, then it's game on and we'll have the momentum.
We know how well we can be once we have the momentum with nothing to lose.

Kennedy is the only leadup forward we have and with the form of the Brizvegas defenders, our most likely prospect of winning

He is, but he doesn't get space on his opponent and our kicking isn't good enough to help him out.
They get the spoil and run away from him and before we know it they have a shot on goal.

Better dribbling it in and letting our small forwards run on to it. At least one of them will be quicker than their opponent.
