Jim Park Voting AFL Rd 12 Carlton vs Melbourne
#1
Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

Hopefully we'll have guys to vote for.  Smile)

Hopefully we have some people who want to vote! Numbers have been very low in the last couple of weeks.

AFL Rd 13: Carlton vs Melbourne
Not good enough again.
Rating: C-
Patches were good. Our defence was excellent. But our forward play … I really hate writing this, but it is the way we’ve played this year.

Votes:
[2.5] Adam Cerra
[2] Patrick Cripps
[2] Sam Docherty
[2] Harry McKay
[2] Jacob Weitering
[1.5] Adam Saad
[1] Brodie Kemp
[1] Mitch McGovern
[0.5] Matthew Kennedy
[0.5] Tom de Koning

Explanation:
I was really struggling to give votes this week. And not for the first time this year either.
[2.5] Adam Cerra: Probably our best player on the night, he didn’t Hurt Melbourne enough to really stand out.
[2] Patrick Cripps: Not enough, but Crippa really did try his guts out.
[2] Sam Docherty: Pretty effective. Gave us some drive.
[2] Harry McKay: Totally dominated. We just couldn’t get the ball near him often enough.
[2] Jacob Weitering: Not quite as good as last week, but still showed a marked improvement in form and in decision making.
[1.5] Adam Saad: A great defensive job.
[1] Brodie Kemp: Pretty good on the night. Took some nice marks.
[1] Mitch McGovern: Awful early, McGovern really lifted and did his job.
[0.5] Matthew Kennedy: Tried hard.
[0.5] Tom de Koning: One of Tom’s better ruck displays, especially against 2 class opponents.

Honourable Mentions:
Blake Acres: Not bad, but his foot skills didn’t hurt Melbourne enough to get a vote.
Alex Cincotta: Did a good negative job, but didn’t provide the drive he can produce.
