AFL Rd 6 2023 In Game Angst Carlton vs St. Kilda at Marvel
#91
Sooner or later we need some small forwards and crumbers who actually get front and square, actually in front!

Aints have brought the footy to ground all day long, with our blokes trailing behind.

If we are to have a KPF focussed game plan, we can't have KPF's burning baby shots 25m out on slight angles.

Sooner or later we may learn how to deliver the ball into the 50.  As another poster said we are aus kick standard.

Seriously we are laughable with how we move the ball at times.

Liam stocker. 16 touches 0 tackles.  He's a passenger, and he was taking kick ins.

No way in the world do we run as hard both ways and have the drilled game plan the Saints do. We are middle of the road. Not top 8.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

It doesn't matter, even if it's obvious to the opposition where the footy is going, our talls were not out marked all day and we didn't win a single crumb, and the only time we got hold of the ball was off a Aints first fumble.

The Saints organised and purposeful,  the Blues not! Lot of work still to be done to say the least.
Reality always wins in the end.

You can add Durdin and Motlop too......our small forwards gave us nothing and then you look at the opposition small forwards and they had us under pressure all game. We had a lot of the ball in the midfield but fecked around with it going sideways and gave our talls no hope and with impotent small forwards doing sweetFA that tells a story.

I couldn't agree more
Coming together is the beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.

Way better than last week, against an unspectacular, but solid and very well drilled outfit.

2nd year blues for the Blues ?
