Spoke to her after the game and she was talking surgery.  Now confirmed as an ACL.  Bloody hell,  Done for the season at least.

Terrible news for Maddy and the club!

Harf was quite positive that Maddy's knee was structurally sound after the game but the scans must have shown otherwise.

That's another one out for the season. Hope they don't follow the men's injury path.

This one hurts.
She has improved dramatically over the past 12 months and offered us good coverage in the midfield with Prespakis and Egan leaving.
Now we'll be extra light on in that area.

Very sad news indeed, we wish her well.

These issues of tendons and ligaments are never going away for the girl comps, just like long term sports netball and basketball, this type o injury is going to be a more frequent part of women's sport.
