McGovern and Pittonet were both fit enough to play, but didn't.
Are we 'saving them' and the tactics that goes with them for a potential finals matchup against the cats?
Are we keeping our cards close to our chest until it matters?
I know Melbourne did this at a similar time in the season against the dogs, knowing that they would most likely come up against them in the finals....which they did....and the tactical change they held back worked.
Perhaps we are playing the end game?
That would be a smart move. Very smart and timing perfect. Let them get some form in the mangos. Either this or let them get full recovery before the next charge. On that note we are or the end of a football bashing.

We need to learn but also get battle worn soldiers. That takes time to get bigger and stronger. It also takes time to develop experience. You can’t buy or teach it. Not with so many kids.
