Wow, as good we were in the 3rd, 5 goals from all those I50s was a poor return. Cripps and led his team mates into resorting to playing hero, selfish footy instead of selfless team footy.

That's the real worry, players trying to kick miracle goals instead of giving off first option. Defence very wobbly too, Weiters naturally rusty off the pace.

Being Carlton supporters we knew it would happen but this seriously must get better. Taking the foot off the pedal is the one lingering issue. Footy goes 4 qtrs, not one. Hence why our percentage is 112, not 130 and could cost us.

We're a team of 'showponies'
When the going gets tough we just disappear.
That's one of the reasons I'm not a fan of these flashy starts because were always at risk of the momentum change.
And once that's lost it is very hard to get it back...almost impossible to the level we played at in the first quarter.
These aren't the traits of a serious finals team.

I thought I heard a whistle just prior to Cripps being caught and thought Cripps did too - he seemed to stop for a moment, although he should have got rid of the ball before then.
We didn't adapt to WC in the 2nd qtr. Needed to slow down and keep possession for a bit to get some poise - we had very little.
