Nice back hander from your mate, don't think we are in the easy beat category but kicking 9 goals vs a undermanned GC team doesn't inspire high confidence for the future either.

If the last quarter has been 5.3 or 4.4 looks a lot better than the 1.7 we mustered?
Finals, then 4 in a row!

Good point. And we dominated possession when the game was online.
Like EB says the last 2 wins were against weaker opposition but as we have seen this year if you’re not switched on, upsets occur so doing what was needed to get the 4 points is still acceptable imo.
We thankfully no longer appear to be a bottom 4 team but as far as being a genuine top 8 chance this year the next fortnight will be telling.

The Cameo King has a lot of criticism over his teasing career but I watched a feature on him on the CFC website and he had 11 tackles last week and there has been a considerable emphasis on lifting his defensive game, which just might do the trick. Here's hoping. Might be the kind of bloke who if given a run with role might be forced to concentrate for 120 minutes... which could save his career.

Missed after getting concussed late last game.

He laid 11 tackles (more than half of our AFL team combined against Freo) and kicked two goals and would have been in contention.

Luke Power's comments about working on his starting points are interesting:

Five years in our system and they're just working that one out now?

Says a lot. Not much good....

More about the value of having a Luke Power type coaching kids, that is a Mid coaching Mids, the guy knows how to get involved in games without being overly blessed with size and speed.

No offence to him, but our current midfield coach is Barker, we'd be better off having Barker fix Cripps marking! :o

Most were pointing out things they'd like to see him try or suggesting that he could do with a win.
A far cry from calling for his sacking.

I wasn't talking about you when i made that post.

A couple have put their hand up though

and of course Lord Lucifer actually posted alternatives in the sack Teague thread today FFS.

Whilst I put my hand up, I think that my posts didn't call for him to be sacked, they involved:
-  stating that if we don't make the 8, the club would sack him at years end.
- if we where 0-5 or 0-6, they would sack him sooner
I also stated that I don't like the bloke much, doesn't mean I want hime sacked. He could win us he next 10 on the trot, my opinion of him won't have changed.
