Good luck.
If you divert your attention away from minor, puerile exchanges and focus on the broader, narrative sweep, you will see that my position has always been about fighting for what is fair and right, and fighting for correct diagnosis of problems and not just lazy scapegoating. I have no interest in point scoring, nor do I, despite claims from my accusers, have any issue with being wrong. Over 15 years and 15,000 posts, I have admitted being wrong dozens and dozens of times, most recently in relation to Eddie Betts.
Granted, it may a fight in which you and others have no interest, it may be a fight that you think is irrelevant, it may be a fight that bores you witless, but these are matters for you. You have various means at your disposal to avoid me altogether if you so choose.

Plowman was being hung onto when he was sold into trouble by Williamson too.
He was being held before taking posession, hence why he couldnt dispose of it. The new holding the ball rules, have given the umpires no where to go with holding the man. They either pay it one way, or the other.
As usual, the defenders never get the free kicks (unless your playing against Carlton).

Ask Harry about Carlton forwards receiving free kicks while held ?

Yes, perspective is a wonderful thing as they say. Setterfield got votes from everyone in the Jim Park, bar one.

The 'bests' include 6 players usually, maybe coaches each rated him 6th best?
Given 9 players were voted in and only 1 player (1 of Curnow, Pittonet and Walsh) received votes from both coaches, i'm sure it wasn't an easy task.
FWIW, Each coach's top 3 best on ground (3, 2, 1 in the brownlow) had zero in common with the other coach.
Thats gotta be a first.

I reckon that the club should put together a highlights video of Cripps being held, tackled and thrown to the ground off the ball, as well as the studs up kick in the guts, and ask the AFL to explain what he needs to do in order to get a free.
That said, it’s disappointing that Teague and his assistants haven’t come up with a couple of decent options to deal with Cripps and Docherty being tagged.
Anyway, it was good to get a win, even if it was against a struggling North who were threatening to run over the top of us. We should be able to match any team in the comp if we can put together four quarters with intensity and composure.
Did anyone else think that it was weird watching Ben McKay? He looks so much like his twin and has the same mannerisms that I couldn’t help thinking that it was a junior competition where you lend the opposition a player or two to make up the numbers.
The highlight for me was Marc Murphy’s shepherd to allow Simmo to keep running
