A solid win. Especially in Sydney.
Votes:
[3] Nick Newman
[2] Matthew Kreuzer
[2] Patrick Cripps
[1.5] Marc Murphy
[1.5] Ed Curnow
[1.5] Sam Walsh
[1] Levi Casboult
[1] Lachie Plowman
[1] Jack Silvagni
[0.5] Sam Petrevski-Seton
Explanations:
[3] Nick Newman: Great game dominating in defence. More metres gained than any other player, eve with his occasional miskicks.
[2] Matthew Kreuzer: Dominated in the ruck.
[2] Patrick Cripps: Extremely good early and late; tagged out in the 3rd quarter.
[1.5] Marc Murphy: Fine effort again from Murphy, whose confidence is up.
[1.5] Ed Curnow: Shut down his man and got heaps of the ball.
[1.5] Sam Walsh: Ran himself into the ground and dominated with run and bounces.
[1] Levi Casboult: Good in the ruck and forward. Some great marks.
[1] Lachie Plowman: Excellent job today, but his kicking still needs improvement.
[1] Jack Silvagni: Solid game by Jack with some very classy moments.
[0.5] Sam Petrevski-Seton: Played in defence and did a good job.
Honourable Mentions:
Michael Gibbons: Very solid. Some very nice things.
Dale Thomas: Beat his man and provided some nice run.
Will Setterfield: Started brilliantly but fell out of the game badly.
Kade Simpson: Excellent job in defence.
Harry McKay: Took a lot of marks but couldn’t kick the goals. Had he kicked 4 goals he would have been a real winner.

Great that we can win without the need for Cripps to play out of his skin for 4 qtrs. Well defined roles and growing confidence across the board.
