GWS have an awesome list, and the new rules suit it to the ground, I expect older / slower lists to really suffer as this season goes on!

PS; Ward is very unlucky, they could well win a flag this year!

GWS would be my tip for the flag but Ward is the one player they cannot afford to lose as their one weakness is they lack a bit of physicality....

Coniglio and Hopper very hard at it. Hopper has made the leap this year to a 30 pos per game player. Same draft as Kennedy I think.

I probably should have said they lack a bit of mongrel.Coniglio attacks the ball well but is a nice guy, Greene went to water when he got manned up by Maynard in the finals. They dont have much in the nasty bracket which you sometimes need in the finals. Deboer gets a game because he plays it rough but he doesnt give you much as a footballer. They could have done with Hodge or Lewis on their list.
Dont get me wrong they are very skillful and attack the ball ok overall but I reckon they got Mumford back for more than his ruckwork....

The Blues won by a point, 68 to 67, but that is all the detail I can get at the moment.

I've heard SpecialK only played part of the game, and JSoS kicked the winner.

Northern Blues: Kerr 2, Palmer 2, J.Silvagni 2, Garlett, Kreuzer, O’Dwyer, Penrith

BESTS
Northern Blues: Kreuzer, Wilson, J.Silvagni, Goddard, Anderson, Hill

From the NB's website. Silvagni will be a certain 'in' next week. Kreuzer too is he is fit enough. I would doubt that with him not 100% game time yet, but we can't go in with Lobbe. He was destroyed today.

It's curious, I've a mate who was there said that SpecialK only played managed minutes and they named him BoG!

16 possessions in half a game and an excellent game in the ruck. He must have dominated while he was on.
It also makes you wonder about the rest.
