Nowadays you don't have to go the full install, you can pay and get an app that lets you stream from your laptop/phone. Wink

Foxtel Now is also available on TelstraTV which makes it quite convenient. Works out at about $39.00 per month (including the compulsory movie or doco package), you get a free period to start and you can cancel any time with no lock in. I haven't tried it yet but I'm definitely thinking about it. I sometimes use the AFL App when all else fails (free with Telstra plan) but of course picture is only mobile phone size.

A Sneaky way is to open a Crownbet account and download their app, think you can watch the footy for free on your phone similar to Telstra...

Interstate games not FTA has always been a massive black mark against the AFL IMO..... Gives Foxtel ET AL a license to print money. What does the AFL think,  rank and file need members to fly up to such games?

If you know someone with a Foxtel subscription you can swing on to it, they can register three devices (phones, tablets etc.) and all you need to do is download the Foxtel app.
There are live streams as well but they can be pretty dodgy and loaded with malware, it's much better if someone you know with a Foxtel account will help you out.
You can Chromecast it to your TV.
