I hate losing, no matter how close we get. But we did fight it out. If we had that little bit extra, but, if wishes were horses we’d be up to our neck in horse kaka.

[3] Gibbs: Classy in the midfield. He was excellent.
[2.5] Cripps: Not as good as his 2nd half last week, but a big improvement over his recent form.
[2] Simpson: Excellent leadership in defence.
[2] Ed Curnow: Top effort both offensively and defensively.
[1.5] Docherty: Another strong effort across half back.
[1.5] Wright: One of his better games.
[1] Graham: Probably his best game for the year, with a very high % efficiency.
[0.5] Tuohy: Tough effort in defence
[0.5] Kreuzer: Probably beaten in the ruck, but his efforts around the ground were excellent.
[0.5] Weitering: Not his biggest game, but he kept the resting ruckmen down well.
Honourable Mentions:
Rowe: I reckon Rowe did a pretty good job on Franklin even though he got 4 goals. He just didn’t have a big impact.
Buckley: I wish he hadn’t run out of juice, because he was very good in the first half. I really wish he could work on his fitness, as I want to see him finish games as well as he starts them.
White: another solid effort.

Ed would have given Gibbs a run as BOG for us except for some bad skill errors, but he played a very good game.
