VFL Rd3: Northern Blues vs. Port Melbourne
#11
Northern Blues vs. Port Melbourne
Saturday April 23
Preston City Oval at 2.00pm

Northern Blues

B: 58. Z Tuohy 27. M Jamison 26. M Dick
HB: 7. D Buckley 11. K McGuinness 43. S White
C: 65. D Viojo 1. T Wilson 76. J Tutt
HF: 49. D Armfield 20. A Everitt 56. A Gallucci
F: 48. K Jaksch 14. L Jones 36. C Wood
R: 15. M Kreuzer 60. D Cuningham 32. N Graham
Int: 24. T Roos 4. S Russell 18. D Gorringe 2. J Silvagni 6. G Strachan 34. J Glass-Mccasker 37. T Jones 67. C Smith 29. B Casley 10. T Totevski 31. J Foster 80. M Korcheck

23P: 23. H Kerbatieh

This side will look very different on the day, but the return of Silvagni and Everitt will open up scoring opportunities (I hope). Probably 2 of the emergencies will go to Perth, maybe all 3. Now way all 3 will play.

Port Melbourne
B: 21. L Cook 31. B Mihocek 12. J Tynan
HB: 5. S Lange 23. H Sandilands 7. S Crocker
C: 27. D Mascitti 10. T Pinwill 3. L Tynan
HF: 29. C Cain 2. K Haretuku 60. D Iaccarino
F: 32. B Pearson 40. S Clarke 8. D Van Unen
R: 36. L Waddell 11. M Golby 4. T O'Sullivan
Int: 1. M Rivett 28. J Scipione 41. R Hogan 17. A Urban 35. G Dickson 44. M Hayes 26. N Dixon 9. B Hogan

23P: 48. J Halsall

I actually don't know Port's team all that well, but they will probably try to be fairly physical against our kids. A few weeks back they had the extra poise and experience, and we had a very young side playing. Hopefully we can turn that result around.

On paper, that's a darn strong VFL level team. Our boys, that is.....
Finals, then 4 in a row!

Good to have young SOS and Everitt back.

And for those who (like me) didn't know, the "T Roos" listed for the NB's is Tyler Roos, son of Paul Roos.

DISPOSALS: McGuinness 35, Tutt 34, Armfield 27, Wilson 26, Dick 25, Kerbatieh 25, Jones 24.

Tutt and Armfield really put their names forward to play next week in the seniors.
Kerbatieh didn't do his chances of getting noticed any harm at all.
