With a lot of short term politics it can be hard to determine the real consequences of policies - sometimes they take years to manifest and working out blame or congratulations is pretty hard.

What makes me laugh is that people actually think the other mob is any better.  None of them are worth your vote.

Not in the case of local politics. We are an absolute basket case in this state on so many levels. Roads that have pot holes you can lose a small car in, hospital and ambulance care that is under resourced and inadequate, a CBD that's a ghost town (unless a strike is happening) are all stuffed.

Mental health is at record levels yet there is a lack of care in facilities yet we blow 300+ million on sporting events that they pull the pin on after realizing its a bad economic decision.  Any chance they could have been made before throwing 100s of millions into it. Yet there is still those who say even that was a good decision  :-[

Crime rates and a legal system mainly in regards to bail is simply broken and never changes despite all the talk everytime there is another innocent death as a result to a crim on bail. Disgusting and as i said never changes. 

Add in the highest taxes of any state, small business that are on there knees and its no wonder many are packing up and heading North.
