Round 22: Carlton vs. GWS In Game Angst

They've had a lot of the ball, but we kicked straight!

21 minutes in and Kreuzer is off with the blood rule.
We are still in front. Somehow I don't think we read the script again.

Treloar goals for GWS.

Downie, the GWS ruckman, has 8 taps so far, of which 4 have been 'too advantage'. Kreuzer can play but he really misses out in the taps. Now 11 taps to 3.

Goal to Griffin. Score are level at 2 - 3 - 15 a piece.

Downie has ruled the ruck and got possessions around the ground. Kreuzer has 1 possession. They have had plenty of the ball but have been very ineffective in their kicking. We've been a bit better. We may have lost the rucks, but clearances are close. Any guesses as to who is getting them for us?

Jamo playing well. he has 6 possessions: Cameron has 0. 6 is our best and plenty have 6 possessions. About 6 of the GWS guys have 7 or more.

They are 30 possessions ahead after 6 minutes of the 2nd quarter. They have 5 tackles in the forward 50, while we have 0. And yet we remain in front.

afl.com.au gives some very nice stats sometimes, but they also use the stats to show that nothing much is happening. far too many many stats posts and not enough scores.

They kicked another 2 points to lead, and we are now 42 possessions behind.

Ellard off injured. No idea what. Walsh is into the game. Mind you, Ellard had only a couple of possessions.
