I'm really keen on Walsh as a player and hope he gets plenty of onball time, genuine old fashioned rover who can make the grade IMO..

Walsh wants it real bad, that's why he's gonna make it.

Will be interesting to watch Billy Gowers in action as well.
DrE is no more... you ok with that harmonica man?

He isn't the quickest guy going around, but I have liked what I have seen.

Not looking like a win: last quarter with less than 10 minutes to go.
PM 14.14.98, NB 11.14.80

Considering what's on the park for us, this is a pretty good effort.

Not long now
15.14.104, NB 11.14.80

From the commentary on twitter we did a heap of attacking in the last quarter but couldn't get the ball through the middle. They, on the other hand, made something of our mistakes. Does that sound similar?

All over now and we lost again.

Northern Blues: 11 - 15 - 81
Port Melbourne: 15 - 14 - 104

It was described as 'a devastating loss', which suggests we must have put in a fair effort. However, looking down the list of tweets it looks fairly clear that we were punished on the turnovers, even though we may have worked hard.
Considering how many players were out, it really was a brave effort.

GOALS: Watson 3, Murray 2, Wilson 2, Foster, Graham, Perry, Viojo-Rainbow.

Disposals:  Graham 26, Cattapan 25, McGuinness 24, Wilson 23, Warnock 19, Walsh 19

Very pleased to see a decent contribution from some of the Preston listed lads, as last year we were very poor in this area. Good to see Warnock getting some of the pill. Walsh getting 19 possessions probably wasn't enough, but he is improving. I hope he can make it: he has a good attitude. No mention of Smith or Holman.
