Team - C we won but played pretty bad.
4 - Cripps: champion in the midfield
3 - Murphy: a much better captain's game. Maybe he should wear the helmet every week?
3 - Curnow: Was everywhere and fought hard.
2 - Byrne: Developing nicely, fought hard and showed some guts to take the game on.
1 - Jones: thought he worked hard in difficult circumstances for 3 quarters but the votes are for kicking the goals that mattered (even if he did botch one as well).
1 - Thomas: 3 goals yesterday just can't be overlooked.
1 - Rowe: because today I barely noticed Rowe or his opponent and I still like a full back that does that. So credit to him for lifting after some poor form lately.

Gibbs, Thomas, Kerridge, Ed Curnow and Docherty all could have got a vote but you can only fit so many in, it was a good team effort.

I only saw the 1st 3/4 but;
Not sure why there isn't more love for Docherty, basically kept us in the game for almost a half just with his aggression at the ball. I'll forgive some poor ball use when a bloke never gives up.
Wright did some great grunt work after 1/2 time, must have racked up 1%ers.
Thomas never stopped running for the 3/4 I saw. A lot of people have written this bloke off at their own peril, but they do so ignoring the fact he, Murphy and Gibbs are surrounded by kids just learning what the game is about. When the kids step it up opposition clubs won't get to rests or rotate on these older players so easily they have the work ethic and smarts to really hurt opposition, add Wright to that mix as well.
I'd love to give a vote to Casboult or Jones, as well as Kreuzer or Phillips, but they need to have more of an impact. This week was an improvement, they need to go up another level next week. I'm confident Kreuzer will, not sure about the others.
Apologies to Rowe, probably his best game so far but there aren't an infinite number of votes.

Apologies to Docherty, Rowe and Kerridge, and Daisy wasn't far off either.
