It seems there's an original version of that clip, and then a few doctored versions that caught everyone's attention. I'm pretty sure the clips have been fact checked and it turned out the sniffing noises were added in post production.

In politics I don't have much regard for most policy, as there is always a price to pay, but the basic rules of decency should still apply, respect people, don't slander or harm them, help whenever you can. Does anyone really see any of that in Trump?

Much of the opinion in the public space comes from social media, and the big problem is social media is self-referential, people watch what they click on and they click on what they want to watch.

They said they would restrict responses to 60s, and they haven't, it's making a mockery of the debate because if they restrict them to 60s neither Trump or Biden will ever finish answering a question.

Trump is going to get back in regardless of these silly debates, like Australia when it comes to politicians the USA have to pick the best of a bad lot.

No doubt the ruling corporate and other elites will feel their billions and billions represent money well spent, because Dingus 1 and Dingus 2 are guaranteed to represent their interests, whilst simultaneously and deliberately ensuring that the public's faith in government and other civic institutions is eroded even further.

I'm a bit confused on Biden's current state and any decline.
Obviously age catches up with us all, but...

Does it demonstrate a significant cognitive decline....age deterioration considered?
I'm not sure it does.
He addresses the stuttering.
Turn the vision off and just listen to the sound and there's not a lot of difference in the delivery.

I still think the Democrats have made a mistake with him as the candidate.
He makes gaffes like confusing Egypt with Mexico.
He freely admits he can get into trouble from his minders if he goes off script.
He is too old and it presents the voters with a choice between two old guys.

I read somewhere that Biden suffered from some kind of speech impediment or something along those lines.
I've got a mate who has similar.
I've noticed with my mate that there can be some weird 'pausing' patterns with his speech and he explained it that he has certain techniques that he uses to catch himself when he is struggling with something.
In short, Biden does the same thing. People put it down to his age, but my mate is mid-30's and has been dealing with it since he was a kid.
I should point out that 99% of people wouldn't know this about my mate and i wouldn't either unless he told me.

So people judging Biden might want to have a rethink.
