Seems we've been rewarded very well after our efforts last year.
14 rounds have been released so far (we have the bye in R15).
Points of interest.
1. Thursday night opener against Tigers in R1
2. Exclusive Good Friday game vs Kangas in R4.
3. Thursday night opener of 'Gather Round' vs Adelaide in R5
4. Queens/kings birthday eve primetime slot Sunday night vs Essendon in R13
From the first 14 rounds we have...
10 Night/primetime games.
3 - Thursday Night games
4* - Friday Night games (inc. 4:20 twilight game on Good Friday)
2* - Saturday Night games (inc. 1 5:20AWT late game in Perth)
1 - Sunday Night games (Queens/Kings birthday eve)
The other 4 games are...
- Giants (away) Sat 4:35.
- Saints (home - Marvel) Sun 3:20
- Suns (home - MCG) Sun 1:10
and suprisingly
- Pies (Home - MCG) Sun 3:20
We play the following sides twice....
Suns
Giants
Saints
Demons
Eagles
Pies

Has there been a more high profile bloke than Harry that's gone from champagne to crape as a result of marrying a dead set skank.
This bloke gone from being one of the most popular and loved members of the Royal Family to persona non grata.
I liked him because he was a fairly loose young fella and went against the establishment a bit.
Since he met this imbecile, its turned to cacca for him.

Congrats to Mimi Hill winning her first of many B&Fs, well deserved.

Just a question, is the medal named after anyone? If not then what about the Vivienne Kerr or Jeanne Pratt medal? Clearly we haven't had any great passed woman footballers but our club has certainly had some powerhouse woman administrators/benefactors that have helped shape our great club.

I was watching the Women play in the Rugby League World Cup the other day, and I've seen a couple of women's cricket games in the last week or two.
It may just be my perception but the 'gap' in skill level between the women and men in those two sports seems a lot smaller than our game.
I kind of understand the Rugby League.
Women have been playing a high level of 'touch football' since Adam was a boy.
That sport would have pretty solid participation levels.
Skills and positioning in that game transfer easily to the game involving tackles.
Participation and the depth of the player pool are also factors.
It's hard to find specific figures.
AFLW is still very much in its infancy.
The skill level is one reason some folks express a reluctance to embrace the game.
The skills seem (to me) to be improving.
Is it just a matter of being patient?

Bree gets her 2nd AA nod and the sole Carlton representative this season.
Prespakis got a gig, well both did, and i'm not sure Maddie deserved it off the back of what i saw of her, but so be it. The fact she was picked as a half forward shows that the AFLW selectors also know how to screw up the AA selections as their male counterparts do repeatedly.
I reckon a few players were stiff, namely Laloifi, Peterson and Hill who basically don't know how to play a bad game.
Mckay and McEvoy got a nod in the 22 under 22 side though, so thats something.

Who is going to win? Who do you want to win?
To be honest, as long as it isn't Adelaide I'm not so worried. Adelaide have had things biased in their favour for so long, I'm happy to see them lose anytime.
Brisbane have also been the recipients of some generous advantages, but I prefer them to Adelaide: they're not a traditional footy state and they didn't have exclusive access to to 2 entire football states, like Adelaide did.
I don't hate Melbourne, but there is a certain star forward who rubs me the wrong way these days.
I think Brisbane will be far too strong. They've slayed everyone this season.

How's me of all people starting a World Cup thread? I know SFA about the game but follow it whenever the Aussies play. From the untrained eye such as mine, our squads looks like one of the worst we have ever gone in with.
I'm sure they'll give it there all but the talent compared to other countries just isn't there. One of our best players in Rogic isn't even in the squad, something isn't right there. Would have preferred Ange as coach, Arnold comes across as a battler who is just in the same league as other coaches. We'll make up numbers and surely this will be curtains for him. Would love better than to knock off the Frogs on Wed morning, Ill be up watching.
Go the Socceroos.
