This game is set for 1300 at Ikon Park on Saturday 29th July. Considering that we have now lost 6 in a row and still have the same old issues, I am not looking forward to this game.
We should have a better list available for this game, with the potential return of White, Marchbank and Byrne, but we are missing a lot of confidence and the midfield required to get a win.
Last weekend was ambarrassing, no too ways about it. It will take a lot of effort and more spirit than we've shown recently, but it is not Mission Impossible. Geelong are not impressive. However, they have not lost 6 in a row and thrown their finals' opportunities out the window.

Choose ONE ONLY Green Shoot you observed from the game. Can be a player, passage of play and individual effort, any ONE Shoot that put a smile ???? on your face?
Need some positivity!!
Samo looked more at home today. Just needs to take the game on more and not go back every time he takes a mark. His first instinct is to stop and go back. However he seemed much more involved today.

| Jim Park Voting: Rd 18: Carlton vs Brisbane |

Remember:
[1] At least 3 players need to get a mention.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player.
[3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F.
[4] Votes must add up to 15.
I do not know yet if I'll get to see any of the game, so voting for me will be problematical. I guess how we go will determine of we get a decent number of voters.

Not looking forward to this. I don't think I'll be able to see any of the game. The 2nd just got done by North Ballarat, who had been winless on the bottom. Brisbane beat us last year, even though they were lower on the ladder.
This bodes poorly.
However, I try to look on the bright side - pick #2 anyone?

If we cannot do something about our midfield in the next few weeks, this could be our last win for the season. The Roosters haven't won a game yet, but they have been playing better and getting closer. We, on the other hand, are going backwards because of our growing injuries problems.
I would NOT be counting this as a certain win, as the Roosters have a good record against us.
Who is left fit to play is the question!

This is probably our best chance to win another game this year. Injuries have hot us badly. However, we have lost a couple of unlosable games against this mob in recent times. They also have injury problems and a young, developing list.
If we play like we did today against the Dogs we will not win it. However, if we play with the intensity we have done in recent weeks, we should win comfortably.
I wonder which Carlton will turn up? It probably won't be the one with Buckley, Alex Silvagni, Thomas or Ciaran Byrne in it.
