Box Hill are 2nd at the moment. We need to beat them this week to make the finals.
Port Melbourne are 3rd and they take on Collingwood. We require Collingwood to lose.
Werribee are below us on percentage. They play the 4th ranked team and have injury worries. We need them to lose as well.

Does it sound likely? I can't say it does. But that is the way it is. We have to beat Box Hill at Box Hill. If we do that we will deserve to be in the finals.

So the coach of the 'unsocialbe Hawks', the man who ended a player's career with one punch, wants to have a sook!

A resurrection of a question that I ask at the end of each season.

I expect Jones to get the nod but its never clear cut on here.

Our final conflict for 2017 coming up and we are not without a chance. Sydney are playing well, but their ruck division is not impressive. It almost cost them the game against Adelaide.
Having beaten Hawthorn, we are a very low probability to go a lot lower. GC are a very low probability of winning and whichever wins from in the Brisbane vs North Melbourne will require enough percentage to pass us. Winning cannot get us any higher.

This is it folks - last game for the year.

Clearly flag favorites along with the Crows, they will take some beating on their own ground.

On the one hand, the smaller dimensions of the SCG should suit our negating game style, but more bodies closer together will definitely help the Swans. Bigger, stronger, more experienced all over the park.

Then there's the Mills revenge factor.

Swans by six goals.
