Good win by the girls.
Jess Good has improved out of sight. Two rucks who have an impact around the ground and on the scoreboard make us hard to beat.
Gab Pound must be having her best season.

We get to play the bottom side which we should win and we need to win one of the other three against teams that are in the middle like us. Good chance to play finals if we are good enough. Playing good running footy and with Good in the ruck our forward line functions better. The defence will get better once Kerrigan gets on the park. After a couple of seasons in the wilderness we seem to be on the right path now.

Pound has been good, but people forget how good she has been. She has been AA.
The 2 Keeleys....Skepper and Sherar are ones that have continued there development and performing well.
Gab had an interrupted season last year - injury(?) and university commitments - but she's really stepped it up this season. And she's not Robinson Crusoe with the two Keeleys, Abbie McKay, Mimi Hill, not to mention our veteran recruits and the Irish girls.
Perhaps the loss to the Kangaroos was an aberration :-\

Don't think Roos was an aberration. Whilst our system looks to have improved and some youngsters are developing nicely, we're way off the pace. It looks like a 2 teir system to me.
Roos, Dees, Crows, and Lions are where the competition is at. WC, Dogs, and probably Hawks are where it's not.
IMO, we're in that rather large middle mix.
That said, the overall improvement our girls have shown is promising. Lots of upside. Due in part to the balance of seniors, emerging, and newbie players.
