AFL Rd 11 2022 In Game Angst Carlton vs Collingwood
#61
Boys now take a well earned break - hopefully some key players return shortly after in a very big 2nd half of the season for the club

Very happy with out first half of the season and the upside is still immense

Reckon Walsh was stiff not to get that high tackle with 3 seconds to go.

Missing the current Coleman Medallist, All Australian full back for 2022, our No 1 ruckman and in form midfielder and we were 23 points down with 7 mins to go and could have pinched it. I'll accept it.

Only have to read back to see that most wrote us off at the time of Weiters going down.
The way they worked through it was great to see, they will not be disheartened by losing to a team that played well and the major structural injury that we got.
The important thing is, who do we pick up in the draft now… ?
Let’s go BIG !

Has to be a couple of taller utility KP types who can give us some cover at each end.

Weits is the heart and soul of our defence and his loss was massive. We definitely need to have a better Plan B to cover this situation.
Reality always wins in the end.

Probably one with previous AFL experience and one who can develop.
Connor Ballenden ,Sam Durdin or Blake Schlensog as the former and maybe J Cripps, or Wade Derken as the developing player..
