I reckon his heart would be in the right place.
What would probably bring him undone is that he strikes me as a bloke who likes to please everyone.
In the rough and tumble world of politics... lobbying and interest groups would be all over him like a rash.

That's the motive for the Randoms who apply for the job. https://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/allowan...2459%2C085.

But I'm sure I recall hearing the Lord Mayor of Melbourne could with allowances be a higher wage earner than the Premier in years past.

Well that was a wild old night here in West Gippsland. No power since around 3am, trees down and dog displeased that her heater stopped!
Fortunately, yours truly has his 7.5kva genny on hand so at least the Baggers' household has the basics: fridge, modem, microwave, computers, jug for a cuppa and the dog's heater is back on... along with a portable for Mrs Baggers in her office and me in mine! Fair bit of clean up around the place - trees damaged, roads blocked with downed trees and so on. It was a doozie!
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

It certainly was a wild night and I'm glad you came through it unscathed. Why am I not surprised that you're well-prepared?
We had two trees down over the only road out of our little estate but they were both removed by the time we had to head off to see Ms DJC's surgeon for her final post-op consultation.
I've got a bit of chainsawing to do when the weather eases up; branches partly blocking the driveway and a tree down over the front fence.

The school I've been working at was closed today because of no power. It is in West Gippsland. I must admit it was nice not driving down there in that weather.

Capt CRASH, next time you're in West Gippy, drop us a PM and we'll catch up for a cuppa!
