Pre-season hitout
#1
It seems that the girls had a good game against the Bulldogs and came away with solid win.

From the report on the website, Tayla Harris slotted a goal from the 50.  That would have been something to see.

Did anyone get to the game?

Put money on the girls to take out the flag!

Got the best backmen in the business in Bri Davey, and we snaffled Collingwoods B+F winner Nicola Stevens to help out down there as well.

We have the excitement machine and leading goal kicker up forward in Vescio
and have just recruited the best genuine key forward in the game in Tayla Harris.

We have both ends of the ground sorted with enough 'grunts' through the middle to ensure we're not pushed off the ball.

Big things expected from the women from me.

Yes, me too.

As silly as this sounds it makes me wonder how quickly the men would have improved if the current Coaching and Admin team were given a clean list as a starting position! The girls team seems to have developed a culture that the men should use as the example.

I don't find it that bad. Well worth watching when I get the chance.

Those chicks go in hard man. No way I'd be lining up against them.

I thought I read somewhere that we were short priced favorites to win the flag this season in 2018.

So I just had a look on sportsbet and we are second favorite win the flag, behind Adelaide and ahead of Melbourne and the Doggies.
In other markets, Bri Davey is equal 3rd favorite to win the league B&F, Darcy Vecsio is equal 6th.
Vescio is outright favorite to win the 'Coleman'!

I'd put money on Harris to win the coleman personally.

Vescio won't be targetted as much now that we have Harris. She will be given more chances via crumbs though.

I'd reckon Vescio will win the Coleman. What is the name of their award btw?
Finals, then 4 in a row!
