I'll put my hand up.

I didn't understand his recruitment then, and in context of where we currently are, it barely makes sense.

Playing a sterling match in his first game is much more than I expected from him, and I thought it would be a waste of time and position.

I'll concede that I was wrong.

I still don't understand why we needed to do this, instead of a youngster.

Thry, we have bought in a lot of youngsters.

Alex was bought in to help with their development by supplying some experience and muscle.
He did a superb job on Franklin and we may well have lost that game if Buddy had been able to play at his best.

I reckon Alex has already earn't his spot on the rookie list.
