2017 Round 5: In game angst: Carlton vs Port Adelaide
Firstly, this is our second game after a 6 day break.

We are too young, to weak physically and mentally to cope with this.

Secondly, since the opening bounce, we have been intimidated, tentative, and generally weak in every aspect of the game.

We still can't stick a tackle. We still can't hit a target with a 30 metre field kick to a bloke who is not under pressure to receive.
We are as slow as a snail with our decision making.

Now for my pet peeve. Jack Silvagni. I am sick and tired of watching him not take responsibility when he has a chance to goal. He did last week, he did it last year, and tonight in the first quarter, he was about 15 out after receiving the ball, could have thrown it on the boot and taken the shot,  but instead went for a hospital hand pass to another player in a worse off situation than him resulting in a turnover. I'm all for unselfish play, but there is a time and place, and he is totally unaware of either.  If he doesn't get rid of this idiocy that he's obviously had since his junior days, and keeps making stupid decisions like he is, he will never reach the hights as a player that he MAY, and I say May, have the capacity to reach.
