Maurie Sankey, Gordon Collis and one other player, whose name escapes me, lived in a house with one of my brother's mates. His mother was their host, as was the way many players were accommodated back in those days. I used to see them at the Sydney Road shops when I was a little tacker and Maurie always said "G'day".
