Agreed, but quick thinking is also knowing what to do, and these first years would get slaughtered, their confidence would be dented and if thrown to the wolves repeatedly it might never recover.
Also, sometimes that loss of space for players like Daisy or Gibbs to work in is caused by the newbies being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ask Fev and Setanta!
