Jim Park Voting: Rd 12: Carlton vs St. Kilda
#7
Team: F
Our worst game for a long time, and, in a number of ways, our worst game of the year. Before today we have been beaten, but we hadn’t been out-thought before. Our structural weaknesses were on show.

Votes:
We had huge amounts of ball, but we were very ineffective in using it. Statistics are misleading, as every single one of ours had considerable possessions, even some effectiveness in patches.

[3] Docherty
[2.5] Simpson
[2.5] Thomas
[2] Kerridge
[1.5] Wright
[1] Tuohy
[1] Plowman
[0.5] Gibbs
[0.5] Curnow
[0.5] Caboult

Explanations:
[3] Docherty Another excellent game from a guy who ruled his position and game as much leadership as we had today.
[2.5] Simpson Another excellent game from a guy who ruled his position and game as much leadership as we had today.
[2.5] Thomas Good effort.
[2] Kerridge Tried hard and was one of our best in the midfield.
[1.5] Wright Solid
[1] Tuohy Good.
[1] Plowman Good effort
[0.5] Gibbs Tried hard, but lacked his usual effectiveness.
[0.5] Curnow His 100th game was not his best.
[0.5] Caboult If we could get the ball to him, he could have done a lot more.

Honourable Mentions:
Cripps: For all the possessions he got, he was very ineffective today.
Rowe: Tried hard in defence
Lamb: Some positive patches.
Walker: A few late goals.
Live Long and Prosper!
