The Weitering situation would probably have been a challenge.
It would have been uncertain as to the the timing of his return, if at all. Corkies are like that...sometimes minutes, other times the match.
Weitering would arguably be the centrepoint of our total structure, certainly the backline.
The coach would be faced with a decision once he went off...
Do I change up the structure dramatically, perhaps weakening a strong area, or do I wait and see if Weitering's absence is only short term.
On those type of decisions can sometimes hang the result of a game
