AFL Rd 12: Carlton vs Melbourne
Another disappointing result. Our defence wasn’t that bad, but our forward work …
Trends:
[1] There were 10 voters this week, 1 more than last week.
Please do take the time to vote, the more voters we have, the more reliable our statistics become.
[2] The rating this week was 7.43, which was a D+. We are in a very poor vein of form.
[3] There were 12 vote getters this week. A solid distribution, showing a lot of players did something. But nobody did enough, and we had only one or two winners. (I really hate repeating this – I hated writing it in the first place.)
[4] The average vote this week was 24, which is ordinary. Good wins get scores above 30.
[5] 5 players scored more than 100 votes. That is normally a good sign, but at the moment it only shows that we don’t have enough winners. Again!
[6] Adam Cerra scored his second BOG for the year with 335 votes. That normally is a match winning effort. But this week Cerra’s game just wasn’t that good. It was just a lot better than his teammates.
[7] 3 players scored votes from all voters. The normal spread just wasn’t there.
[8] Brodie Kemp was the youngster to make his mark this week. But the other youngsters aren’t doing as much of late.
[9] No real pattern in this week's voting. Not enough from anyone, really.
