Ah, fun times...........The problem with the early microchips is that they were only micro scale, so they could not safely inject them, you had to drink a batch regularly to replace the ones you sh1t out. They couldn't be delivered cold as they would rust, so they had to keep them warm, milk was great medium because you couldn't see through it and it's a bit of lubricant, no scratchy throat!
Once the evil scientists were able to get them down to nano you could get them in a syringe via a vaccination, they would last for years, no more milk required! ;D
