Must every thread become hijacked to be about race, gender, age, sex, religion, diversity etc debate? I am frankly sick to death of it and just about had enough.

...and that's how we lose folks.
It also happens with coaches, players admin etc,  when something pervades other threads.
It causes moderators grief and frustration.(This thread is about spam...but we're well off track and I'm as much to blame as anyone).
It's cost us some of our best posters who have been both fed up with it, but also offenders called to account.
