What GIC said is basically the way forward, but it's a growing competition that needs to develop it's own history and traditions before folks fully embrace it.
You can't force 'equivalence' of 150 years of tradition in the men's game into a few short years of the women's game and expect folks to have the same depth of emotional connection.
The skeleton is now in place....it needs filling out.
