Team: A
Would have been an A+ if we could keep it up for 4 quarters. Considering that we lost the rucks duels badly, the fact that we won was excellent.
Votes:
[2.5] Patrick Cripps
[2.5] Charlie Curnow
[2] Sam Docherty
[2] Adam Cerra
[1.5] Sam Walsh
[1.5] Matthew Kennedy
[0.5] Zac Fisher
[0.5] Jack Silvagni
[0.5] Lewis Young
[0.5] Harry McKay
[0.5] Jack Newnes
[0.5] Adam Saad
Explanations:
[2.5] Patrick Cripps: 35 possessions, 10 clearances, 2 goals and 7 tackles. Hard to beat that.
[2.5] Charlie Curnow : 10 marks, 21 possessions, 10 marks and 6 goals could have been 9 goals. Hard to beat.
[2] Sam Docherty: Heaps of interceptions, 30 possessions and 10 marks. Brilliant.
[2] Adam Cerra: Another strong game from Cerra. 7 tackles and 6 clearances.
[1.5] Sam Walsh: Still not back to his brilliant best, but he is still getting leather poisoning.
[1.5] Matthew Kennedy: Not perhaps as good as he was in the first 2 weeks, but another quality game all the same.
[0.5] Zac Fisher: A second good performance in a row, Fisher’s kicking was very much on display.
[0.5] Jack Silvagni: Two goals in 30 seconds was good, but his work rate was brilliant.
[0.5] Lewis Young: Continued his good form in defence. Such a good thing to see him flying for his marks. 10 marks in defence.
[0.5] Harry McKay: H was good.
[0.5] Jack Newnes: A strong game from Newnes, with a brilliant goal.
[0.5] Adam Saad: Really did a job in defence.
Honourable Mentions:
Matthew Owies: Didn’t get enough ball, but his tackling was brilliant.
Corey Durdin: Didn’t get enough ball, but his tackling was brilliant.
Nick Newman: A slow start, but a very strong finish. Almost deserved a vote.
Jack Carroll: Not a single possession in the 1st quarter, 18 thereafter. In and under.
Jacob Weitering: Strong in defence.
Jordan Boyd: Deserved his spot with this effort.
