There remains a bit too much nepotism in the Vic Liberals for my liking, old school seats around Kooyong and Glen Iris are deeply entrenched in the power hierarchy, they need to look further afield for some fresh blood that isn't dependant on the generosity of the 85 year old widow of some long gone oligarch.
I think they also need to distance themselves from the Nationals as well, while the Northern species remain staunchly right wing, the Southern species is becoming more left wing over time as farms south of Byron become hybridised vegan green organic goddess havens for free range holistic lunatics. A crew that covertly can be more extreme than the Proud Boyz, they just don't show it in a way that goes beyond throwing the odd bucket of red paint over a celebrity chef!
