Agree. If you see this game as a portent for the home and away season, what you saw was 2 bottom 6 teams IMO. I shudder to think what the turnover count was for both teams. But history has shown it's pretty unwise to stress about scratch matches. There are so many variables and so many different approaches, it's hard to read exposed form in any meaningful way.
Also agree about Pittonet. We got a pretty good glimpse of him last year. An honest player with some toughness. Will have some good moments, but has been and will continue to be exposed by the better rucks in the comp.
