But primarily you play practise matches to develop systems of cohesion against an unknown opponent, something that is impossible to replicate in match-sim because inside your own club everybody knows what is about to happen.
It may well be the case one of the things we wanted to test was tricks for creating space inside F50. But otherwise, rewarding team-mates for doing the right thing is a big plus, because the opposite is burning them and that always comes back to bite you!
