I waited til now as I didn't want to put a downer on everyone's Christmas but sadly my father passed away on Christmas Day, so it's been a Christmas tinged with sadness though he's now free of a body that was very unwell and extremely limiting - especially frustrating for him as he had all his mental faculties and was lucid and joking up until December 23rd. He deteriorated rapidly from then but I did get to spend quality time with him before the final few hours which were painless and quick.
