Not surprised we were stuffed in the final term because the players ran so hard to pressure the pussies during the first 3 term (instead on simply trying to corral them, which has been the case for so many years). Agree. We came very close to losing it in the last - very close, undoing 3 quarters of great work. We smashed them in the aerial game - the different categories of marks all in our favour. Clearly the result of good kicking and blokes running themselves ragged to create separation, get to position etc. Pretty much everything else (tackles, CP's, I50's, scoring shots, clearances etc. ) all in their favour.
I hope this is a portent for the future and not just papering over the cracks.
And why is it that playing three tall forwards was poo pooed under Bolton, yet now, no problemo ? Oh wait............
