I see a recipe for division to be honest.
The guys we keep around need to be a specific type, and you are limited to very few players who are happy to transition into "post AFL" footy.
Daisy was doing his best to remain a player for 2020. This automatically rules him out of the equation, because you are asking him to maintain his physical capabilities as a mentor, and take a back seat from a team he could arguably play for to help develop the next generation.
Unless he is fully on board to do that, and wants to transition into coaching, then its likely to become a divisive situation IMHO.
